Il brano Benedictus es (oppure Benedictus es Domine) è il canto Graduale per la Solennità della Santissima Trinità, che cade nella Prima Domenica dopo Pentecoste (Dominica I post Pentecosten). Ne riportiamo la versione presente nel Graduale Romanum (1974) a pag. 372.

Testo e traduzioni

Testo latino Benedictus es, Domine, qui intueris abysos, et sedes super Cherubim. Benedictus es, Domine, in firmamento caeli, et laudabilis in saecula.

Traduzione in lingua italiana Benedetto sei Tu, o Signore, che scruti gli abissi e hai per trono i Cherubini. Benedetto sei Tu, o Signore, nel firmamento del cielo, e degno di lode nei secoli.

English Translation Blessed are You, O Lord, Who look into the depths from Your throne upon the Cherubim. Blessed are You, O Lord, in the firmament of heaven, and praiseworthy forever.
